BACK STORY

Richard Allen Fisher is an expert in legacy facilitation and cultural advocacy, distinguished by a successful career in arts administration at directorship levels. Over his career, Mr. Fisher developed and managed programs for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The South Carolina Arts Commission, The Southern Arts Federation, The National Endowment for the Arts, and Atlanta's Woodruff Arts Center, having begun his career in the mid-1970's as head of a college art department. Mr. Fisher assisted with the acquisition of art for the Federal Reserve Bank, the Art-In-Architecture Program of the U.S. General Services Administration, The Cultural Olympiad, The Rockefeller Foundation and The State Art Collection of South Carolina.
